Some of my previous work!

I love when I come across my work by accident
I was surfing around and looking for inspiration, when I came across this music video for Atlantic recording artist, Ryan Star, that I had done the hair and makeup for.
And yes, even guys wear makeup, in fact anyone in front of a camera is wearing makeup if the video is going to look like a quality production. It’s just a matter of knowing the difference between Male Grooming (which is closer to “manscaping”) and Men in Makeup.
Which you’ve seen if you watch any of the male beauty influencers, such as James Charles.
(who’s makeup I did not do).
(who’s makeup I did not do).
Here’s a little tidbit that you aspiring makeup artists may want to remember before you get hired for a music video.
It doesn’t matter if it’s your favorite song, If you are the makeup and hair person on a video, they will do about 20 takes (if you’re lucky) you WILL be singing that song, on the way home, in the grocery store, the next day at a photo shoot, and probably in your sleep. You will need a very long time before you will want to hear it again…trust!
I have so much more to show you, and I’ve got a little confession to make.
The reason it’s been so long since my last post, is because I am desperately trying to launch my new website, and tend to get a little caught up in the details.
Hopefully it will be worth the wait!
So until then, please sign up on the mailing list so you can be first to get a glimpse of all the goodies I have planned for the launch.

See you soon, Dolls!
